Preparation
Use a large (I use a 5 gallon) bucket, preferably with a matching lid. You may want to use a simple face mask if you are sensitive to powders.
Mix together dry ingredients:
(1) 4 pound box super washing soda#
(1) 4 pound box Borax#
4 pounds Oxi-clean*
4 pounds baking soda*
*I buy large packages of these and weigh out what I need
I use a cheese grater to grate the following 2 laundry bars
(2) bars of Fels-Naptha#
(1) bar of Zote (pink or blue, your preference)
Last, I add scent crystals. I add different brands with different scents, whatever is on sale...
Mix it all together well. I mix as I go.

Once mixed, you are done with your homemade laundry soap. I have a Kenmore He washer and have used this for years. Check with the manufacturer if it will be OK in yours.
***Use 1 Tablespoon (or a 30ml medicine cup) for Each Load of laundry***
You may choose to use more for heavily soiled loads. This is a concentrated mix and should last quite some time.
